Pretty good service. Chicken sandwich was very good. Chicken was juicy and crispy. Sauce was perfect amount of heat and flavor. Fries were exceptional. Definitely will be back here.
Came by here after watching a show in Hollywood and I liked it a lot more than the DHC locations by my house. For one the service was a lot quicker, despite there being a good number of people already waiting for their order. I didn't have to wait more than 10 minutes. I received my food then sat down to eat and immediately noticed the portions were also bigger than the ones I am used to getting which was a pleasant surprise :) . The food itself was very good, as the sandwiches I ordered were actually quite spicy! That and the portion of fries was just the right amount. Something else I appreciate was that the inside was pretty clean and the music was not unbearably loud. So thank you for that If I am ever craving hot chicken again and I am in LA then I may just stop by here again. It's difficult when there are so many options to go to in the heart of Los Angeles, but I am happy I gave this one a try !
Happened to be passing by and decided to stop and grab a quick bite. Parking was easy, we went on a Friday around 8PM. Not sure if parking is this plentiful at other times of the day. We ordered a #2 which was two sliders and fries. Our food was ready within a few minutes and was very fresh. We ordered spice level hot, which did not disappoint. I think it was just the right amount of heat without overpowering the food itself. I loved the slaw they added to the sliders as well. So glad we stopped because we will definitely be back for more!
First time here, love hot chicken! I settled for medium and it did just the right amount of spice. They gave me an extra tender too, so that's cool. Easy parking lot too thankfully!
Decided I needed a refresh of my Dave's experience from 2018 and did a pick-up order on a Friday night. Food was ready by the time I got to Dave's and I was pleasantly surprised by all the condiments that was added to my bag! The food came hot. I want to say the quality is just the same as before - tasty, spicy, and hits the spot. However, I want to say the chicken pieces were a bit bigger back then (but no biggie). There's tiny parking lot out front. There's a parking attendant making sure people are coming in and out properly. This is a takeout spot so there's a few tables but not a lot.
Food was good. Chicken was surprisingly large for the little bun. A wee bit salty but still yummy. Women how took our order was very nice & food came out pretty quick!
Ambiance: spacious fast food style fried chicken place, limited spots in the shared parking lot Service: very fast though not really patient Food: combo choices and individual orders, their spicy levels are very serious, medium would be good, spicy is very spicy Tender - **** served with sliced bread, pickles and Dave's sauce, recommend Slider - **** served with kale slaw, pickles and Dave's sauce, recommend Fries - *** average taste Price: moderate quality and decent prices, about $20~$25 per order
I've been to this Dave's three times now and I must say the staff here are amazing. The young lady at the counter is always so sweet and always smiling. Fabulous customer service. Food comes out fast too. I ordered a chicken slider with cheese fries. I hadn't tasted the cheese fries before, but it won't be the last. They are soooo addictive. I recommend though if you do order the cheese fries to ask for extra cheese or get it on the side. With the spices and cheese it just elevates the fries. So yummy. Now the sliders OMG just can't get enough of this tasty sweet yet savory slider. I love everything they put on it. The coleslaw and pickles just brings everything together. The chicken so flavorful and juicy. These sliders are like a heavenly addiction. The inside of the particular establishment is also very well kept. Ambiance is calm and artsy. Always clean every time I come. If you have never tried Dave's YOU MUST! Enjoy.
